Election

Two Committees are appointed for each election in this chapter, a Nominating Committee and an Election Committee.

The Nominating Committee proposes a slate of candidates.

The Election Committee follows the rules that are outlined in our Bylaws, and determines the winners of the Election.

In between the two, members who wish to be on the ballot can file petitions to accomplish that.

What Happened
The committees did their jobs.  Candidates were found and nominated, and the slate was advertised in the ChannelM newsletter.

​There were no petitions.

The Results
On April 2, 2017, the slate nominated by the Nominating Committee was declared elected without balloting.  These are:
  • Charles Braffett
  • Marcia Muggleberg
  • William Noack
  • Vaughan "Parkie" Parker
  • Patrick Pelletier
​These are the new Executive Committee members whose terms begin on July 1 and run for two years.
